I am looking to hire 3 people for 3 different positions, to work in my company, based in PJ and soon in Hartamas.
It’s a startup, so to put it one way, it doesn’t have the elements a large company does but if you’re into opportunities, then this vacancy is looking for you.
On the flipside, if you’re looking for a place to be comfortable, not challenging, sweet but not exciting, then this job is not looking for you. Your dancing shoes, meant for another song, not ours.
Someone with up to:
The work is communications based, but you do not need to have a communications background. Generally speaking, we’re categorized as a boutique advertising agency.
We don’t work the hours most agencies do because we don’t believe in that. As for pay, everyone is paid according to how well and able they are.
So you have an idea, we started off as an arts group, RandomAlphabets in 2008 doing flashmobs and guerrilla events.
After a string of freelance gigs, in 2009 Wago Sdn Bhd was set up from scratch, and grown it independently without any form of financial support, but just by selling ideas.
What is most important is, this is where people make things happen and get things done. If you have the same attitude, then I look forward to your email.

I can’t say I’m a fan of how this (amazing) idea was executed, but because I’ve no alternative suggestion on how else to do it, so I conclude it’s brilliant nevertheless. Important to take note that this idea was originally done in June 2008 (see below and click here to read how did theirs go) by a small group based in NYC called ImprovEverywhere. Whereas the video above, done with sufficient if not ample financial support among other resources, was uploaded yesterday 29 Oct 2010 (probably some hours ago, UK timezone). Either way for me, it would be super to have a small group of reliable people willing to execute an idea like this, or a adventurous if not visionary client willing to spend money on an idea like this.
*Thanks to Omar Davison, my fellow Stephen K Amos fan mate, for sharing this. See you in London/Singapore soon. I hope!

Aside from being a Kid Cudi fan, the thought of producing a video like this, of this nature, from beginning to end, turns me on. The sophistication from concept, planning, pre-production, making sure all angles are captured, understanding the humanization of it, appreciating the close elements of realism, to that time you see the final draft, is to me, the kind of craft I appreciate.

This video by bladeless fan-maker Dyson, is to me, similar to the strategy/approach adopted by BlendTec, the same company that boost its product and brand, by uploading onto youtube, videos of them putting an iPad, golf balls, glow sticks etc into a blender.

On Wednesday around 11.45pm, I’ll be on 8TV Quickie to speak about PARAMKL and on Saturday at 5pm till buka, alongside Grey Yeoh, Chi Too and Liew Seng Tat, Simon Soon and Hariati Azizan, I’ll be speaking at Taman Jaya Park, PJ.
It is part of GENG at CHAI Project Series. The one I’m involved in is ‘Playing in the Public: picnic and chat with flashmobbers, party poppers and house carriers…’ Click here to see the Facebook link for this.
*I’m somewhat familiar with Chi Too and Grey Yeoh. I trust that these two art practitioners will make your Saturday evening worth coming to this for.
That’s just my opinion. Which is normally right when yours is wrong.

I miss creative process. It seems, working as much as I can while travelling (Day 37 of 60) is insufficient. Little is the room for expansion, progress. All the creative outlet that was available thus far, has been exhausted. I don’t miss the comfort of routine and of home, in fact, am quite detached from it at the moment that’s it at most, a subconscious.
August. Soon will be room, again, to making things happen, getting things done.
